Tercel

Tercel is a next-generation fungicide formulated as an emulsifiable concentrate (EC) designed for effective control of fungal diseases in various crops such as cereals, vegetables, and pome fruits. It provides systemic and translaminar protection by inhibiting ergosterol biosynthesis in fungal cells, thereby preventing pathogen growth and sporulation. Details

Description

Tercel is characterized by:

  • Concentrated Formulation: It contains a high level of active ingredient (exact values can be found on the label) belonging to the triazole group.
  • Mode of Action: Tercel works by inhibiting the enzyme C14-demethylase, which is essential for ergosterol synthesis. This disruption compromises the integrity of fungal cell membranes, halting growth and sporulation.
  • Systemic and Translaminar Activity: Once applied, Tercel is rapidly absorbed and evenly distributed throughout the plant, protecting both the treated foliage and new growth.
  • Preventive and Curative Use: The product can be used preventively before disease onset or curatively at the first signs of infection, providing comprehensive crop protection.
  • Resilience Under Adverse Conditions: Its formulation remains stable and effective under variable weather conditions, ensuring long-lasting protection.

Usage Instructions (example):

  1. Dilute Tercel in water according to label instructions (e.g., 200–400 L/ha) to obtain a uniform spray solution.
  2. Apply as a foliar spray ensuring complete crop coverage.
  3. Reapply every 14–21 days, depending on environmental conditions and disease pressure.
  4. Follow the label’s dosage and safety guidelines.

Advantages:

  • High efficacy due to systemic and translaminar action.
  • Provides both preventive and curative protection.
  • Stable under adverse weather conditions.
