Syllit 400 SC

Syllit 400 SC is a systemic and translaminar fungicide formulated as a soluble concentrate (SC), designed to control fungal diseases in various crops such as cereals, vegetables, and pome fruits. It contains 400 g/l of an active triazole compound that works by inhibiting ergosterol biosynthesis, essential for maintaining fungal cell membrane integrity, thus providing both preventive and curative protection. Description

Syllit 400 SC is characterized by the following features:

  • Systemic and Translaminar Action: Once applied, the product is rapidly absorbed through the foliage and translocated throughout the plant, protecting both the treated areas and new growth.
  • Inhibition of Ergosterol Biosynthesis: The active ingredient disrupts the synthesis of ergosterol, weakening the fungal cell membrane and preventing fungal growth and sporulation.
  • Flexible Use: It can be applied preventively before disease onset or curatively at the first signs of infection, adapting to varying environmental conditions and disease pressure.

Usage Instructions (example):

  1. Preparation: Dilute Syllit 400 SC in water according to the label instructions (e.g., 200–400 L/ha) to obtain a uniform spray solution.
  2. Application: Apply as a foliar spray to ensure complete coverage of the crop.
  3. Reapplication: Repeat treatment every 14–21 days, depending on weather conditions and disease pressure.
  4. Precautions: Follow label recommendations for dosage and safety intervals; conduct compatibility tests if mixing with other pesticides.

Advantages:

  • High efficacy due to its systemic and translaminar properties.
  • Provides both preventive and curative control with a reduced risk of resistance development.
  • Robust formulation ensures consistent performance under variable conditions.
