Mode of action:

Sivanto Energy 85 EC acts by contact and ingestion on harmful insects, both in the larval and adult stages. Flupiradifuron disrupts nerve transmission by binding to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, leading to rapid cessation of feeding and, ultimately, to the death of pests. Deltamethrin, a synthetic pyrethroid, affects the nervous system of insects, causing paralysis and death. The product has systemic and long-lasting activity in plants, being effective against a wide range of insects, especially those with stinging and sucking mouthparts.

Method of use and recommended doses:

Targeted crops: Sivanto Energy 85 EC is approved for use in crops such as rapeseed (autumn and spring) and mustard (autumn and spring).
Pests controlled: Rapeseed stalk weevil (Ceutorhynchus napi, Ceutorhynchus pallidactylus), rapeseed weevil (Ceutorhynchus obstrictus), rapeseed midge (Dasineura brassicae), oilseed weevil (Meligethes aeneus).

Recommended dosage:

0.75 L/ha for controlling oilseed weevil (Meligethes aeneus) in BBCH 50-57 stage.

Recommendations:

To prevent the development of resistance, it is recommended to alternate Sivanto Energy 85 EC with insecticides from other chemical classes and to use the product according to integrated pest management (IPM) programs.
Make sure to apply the product according to the instructions on the label and follow the recommended doses for each crop.
