Sanmite 20 WP

Active ingredient:

• Pyridaben 20% (200 g/kg)​

Mode of action:

• Sanmite 20 WP acts by contact and ingestion, inhibiting the mitochondrial respiration of pests by blocking electron transport. It is effective against all stages of development of mites (eggs, larvae, nymphs and adults) and provides a rapid shock effect, observable approximately 30 minutes after application. The product provides long-lasting protection, with a residual activity of approximately 30-40 days.​

How to use and recommended doses:

• Targeted crops: Cucumbers, peppers (in protected areas), apple, plum​
• Pests controlled: Greenhouse whitefly (Trialeurodes vaporariorum), common spider mite (Tetranychus spp.), broad spider mite (Polyphagotarsonemus latus), mites (Panonychus ulmi, Tetranychus spp.)​
• Recommended dose:
• Cucumbers (protected areas): 0.075% (75 g product per 100 liters of water)​
• Peppers (protected areas): 0.05% (50 g product per 100 liters of water)​
• Apple and plum: 0.05% to 0.075% (50-75 g product per 100 liters of water), depending on the degree of infestation​

Recommendations:

• The treatment is applied at the beginning of the mite attack to ensure maximum effectiveness.
• In vegetable crops in protected areas, where the degree of infestation is often high, it is recommended to use Sanmite 20 WP in a mixture with another acaricide, such as Nissorun, or to alternate the two products to prevent the development of resistance.
• For uniform coverage of the plants, a water volume of 1000-1500 liters per hectare is recommended.
• To avoid the development of resistant forms, it is recommended to alternate Sanmite 20 WP with other acaricide products, such as Nissorun, Talstar or Milbeknock.

Withdrawal time until harvest:

• Cucumbers and peppers: 3 days
• Apple and plum: 14 days

• Sanmite 20 WP is a phytosanitary product and must be used according to the instructions on the label.
• Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes; wear appropriate protective equipment when handling and applying the product.​
• Do not apply the product near water sources to prevent contamination of the aquatic environment.​
