Rumezo 200 SE

Mode of Action:
Mesotrione, the active substance in Rumezo 200 SE, is absorbed primarily through the leaves and secondarily through the roots of weeds. It inhibits carotenoid synthesis, essential for photosynthesis, leading to bleaching and eventually weed death.

• First symptoms appear within 5-7 days after application.
• Complete weed destruction occurs in approximately 14 days.

Usage Instructions:
Rumezo 200 SE is applied post-emergence, depending on the degree of infestation and weed sensitivity:

• Dosage: 0.6 - 0.75 L/ha
• Application Timing: When corn is in the 2-8 leaf stage (BBCH 12-18).
  The product should be applied after weed emergence, in the 2-6 leaf stage, for optimal efficacy.

  • Sensitive and moderately sensitive weeds:

    • Viola arvensis (Field pansy)
    • Lamium purpureum (Red dead-nettle)
    • Capsella bursa-pastoris (Shepherd’s purse)

    • Veronica persica (Common speedwell)
    • Polygonum persicaria (Redshank)
    • Polygonum convolvulus (Black bindweed)
    • Amaranthus retroflexus (Redroot pigweed)

  • Moderately resistant weeds:

    • Galium aparine (Cleavers)
    • Brassica napus (Volunteer rapeseed)

  • Resistant weeds:

    • Geranium pusillum (Small geranium)
    • Echinochloa crus-galli (Barnyard grass)
    • Avena fatua (Wild oat)
    • Polygonum aviculare (Knotgrass)
    • Setaria glauca (Yellow foxtail)

• Dosage of 0.75 L/ha:

  • Increases efficacy against Galium aparine (Cleavers) and Brassica napus (Volunteer rapeseed).

Recommendations:

• Water volume: 200-300 L/ha
• Spray technique: Medium droplet size
• Maximum treatments per season: 1

Crop Rotation:

• If the corn crop treated with Rumezo 200 SE is terminated early, corn can be replanted after plowing.
• After corn harvest, all agricultural crops can be planted following deep plowing (at least 15 cm depth).
