✅ Mode of Action:
Ovipron Top acts by contact, forming a fine film on the bodies of insects and mites, blocking their tracheal channels and causing death by asphyxiation. It is effective against larvae and eggs of mites and also has a repellent effect on chewing insects.
✅ Usage and Recommended Dosage:
- Pome fruits (apple, pear): 2.5 L/100 L water applied alone or 1.5 L/100 L water mixed with an insecticide (maximum dose 35 L/ha). Applications in February-March; for applications in May-August, 1.0-1.5 L/100 L water is recommended.
- Stone fruits (peach, nectarine, plum, apricot, cherry): 2.5 L/100 L water applied alone or 1.5 L/100 L water mixed with an insecticide (maximum dose 35 L/ha). Applications in February-March; for applications in May-August, 1.0-1.5 L/100 L water is recommended.
- Grapevine: 2.5-3.5 L/1000 L water (maximum dose 35 L/ha). Applications in February-March; for applications in May-August, 2.5-3.5 L/1000 L water is recommended.

- Can also be used as an adjuvant in spraying solutions, increasing adhesion and efficacy of plant protection products.
- Effective in reducing water loss through transpiration and provides protection against sunburn.
- Reduces pest impact and helps maintain plant health.
✅ Recommendations:
- Avoid application in freezing conditions, severe drought, or extreme humidity.
- Do not apply the product 30 days before or after using sulfur or calcium polysulfide.
- Observe an interval of at least 20 days between applying products containing captan or folpet and spraying Ovipron Top on apple and pear trees, and seven days for other crops.
