Mavrik 2 F acts on the nervous system of insects by keeping sodium channels open at nerve endings, leading to metabolic disruption, uncoordinated hyperactivity, and eventually the pest's death. It is effective against sucking insects (aphids, thrips) and some chewing insects (beetles and lepidoptera). Due to its water-insolubility, Mavrik 2 F is highly resistant to washing off by rain.
✅ Usage and Recommended Dosage:
- Strawberries: 0.05% (0.5 L/ha in 1,000 L water) – controls strawberry green aphid (Chaetosiphon fragaefolii).
- Potatoes: 0.2 L/ha – controls Colorado potato beetle (Leptinotarsa decemlineata) and aphids (Aphis spp.).
- Wheat: 0.2 L/ha – controls cereal stink bug (Eurygaster integriceps).
- Apple: 0.05% (0.75 L/ha in 1,500 L water) – controls woolly apple aphid (Eriosoma lanigerum).
- Peach: 0.05% (0.5 L/ha in 1,000 L water) – controls green peach aphid (Myzodes persicae).
