Active Ingredients and Formulation:

• Active Ingredients: Metsulfuron-methyl 200 g/kg and tribenuron-methyl 500 g/kg​
• Formulation: Water-Dispersible Granules (WG)​

Mode of Action: Locus 700 WG is absorbed through the leaves and roots of weeds, inhibiting the enzyme acetolactate synthase (ALS), which is essential for the synthesis of branched-chain amino acids. This inhibition leads to the cessation of cell division and, ultimately, the death of susceptible weeds.​

Usage Recommendations:

• Crops: Wheat and barley​
• Recommended Dose: 20-25 g/ha​
• Application Timing: From the 2-leaf stage to the first node stage of the crop (BBCH 12-31)​
• Recommended Water Volume: 200-300 L/ha​

Weed Control Spectrum: Locus 700 WG effectively controls annual dicotyledonous weeds such as:​

• Sinapis arvensis (wild mustard)​
