Fungicides

Kumulus DF

Kumulus DF is a contact fungicide based on sulfur (80% sulfur) with multi-site action and a low risk of resistance development, designed to control powdery mildew in grapevines, apples, and cucumbers. It is formulated as water-dispersible granules that provide excellent adhesion on foliage, act via vapor action, stimulate photosynthesis, and offer secondary acaricidal activity. Details

Description

Active Ingredient:
• 80% sulfur (800 g/kg sulfur)

Mode of Action:

  • Contact and vapor action: The sulfur granules disperse quickly to form a protective film on leaves, inhibiting the germination of fungal spores.
  • Multi-site action: It interferes with multiple metabolic processes in the fungus, reducing the risk of resistance development.
  • Photosynthesis stimulation: Enhances the plant’s photosynthetic activity, promoting growth and vigor.
  • Secondary acaricidal effect: Helps control mites on the plants.

Usage Instructions (examples):

  • Grapevine: Apply preventively at a dose of 0.3% (e.g., 30 g/10 L water) with treatments repeated every 7-14 days during the growing season (BBCH stages 15-81); pre-harvest interval: 28 days.
  • Apple: Use at a dose of 0.3% (30 g/10 L water) at 7-10 day intervals from the bud stage until fruits reach half their final size.
  • Cucumber: Apply at a concentration of 0.4% (30 g/7.5 L water) at 7-10 day intervals during the growing period; pre-harvest interval: 3 days.

Additional Details:

  • The product is applied preventively, before infection sets in.
  • It is recommended to conduct a compatibility test when mixing with other products.
  • Ensure the solution is well agitated during mixing and application for uniform dispersion.
