Custodia 320 SC

Custodia 320 SC is a ready-mix fungicide containing two active ingredients – azoxystrobin (120 g/L) and tebuconazole (200 g/L) – designed to control foliar and spike diseases in small-grain cereals, rapeseed, and vineyards. Details

Description

  • Active Ingredients:

    • Azoxystrobin 120 g/L
    • Tebuconazole 200 g/L
  • Mode of Action:
Tebuconazole, a triazole, is absorbed by the aerial parts of the plant and translocated within the tissues where it inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol, essential for fungal cell membranes. Azoxystrobin provides translaminar protection by blocking electron transport in the mitochondria, enhancing the "stay-green" effect of the foliage. Together, these ingredients deliver systemic, preventive, and curative control against diseases such as white rot in rapeseed and powdery mildew in vineyards.

  • Usage and Recommended Dosage:

    • Rapeseed:
      • Apply a single preventive treatment per season when 10–50% of the flowers on the main raceme are open (BBCH 61–65) at a rate of 1 L/ha, using 200–400 L/ha of spray solution.
    • Vineyards:
      • Dosage varies with the disease stage:
        • 0.175 L/ha at the first sign of infection,
        • 0.35 L/ha at the beginning of flowering (BBCH 61),
        • 0.525 L/ha at fruit set (BBCH 71),
        • 0.7 L/ha when the berries reach pea size (BBCH 75), with a pre-harvest interval of 35 days.
    • Cereals:
      • 1–2 applications may be made at 14–21 day intervals, from BBCH 30 (start of stem elongation) up to BBCH 69 (end of flowering).
  • Precautions:
Wear appropriate protective gear, avoid spraying under imminent rainfall, and always follow the label instructions and local regulations.
