Cuprofix 40 Dispers WDG

Active ingredient:

• Copper (in compound form), equivalent to 40% copper.

Formula:

• Water dispersible granules (WDG).

Mode of action:

• Cuprofix 40 Dispers WDG acts by contact, forming a protective barrier on the surface of leaves and other parts of the plant.
• This film prevents the germination of spores and the development of fungal mycelium, blocking the infection from the beginning, and provides a preventive and, under certain conditions, curative effect.

Areas of use:

• Fruit trees: Used on apple, pear, quince, etc. for protection against foliar diseases.
• Grapevines: Control of fungal diseases such as rot or other infections caused by fungi.
• Vegetables: Protection against fungal diseases that can affect leaves and fruit.
• Other crops: Can also be used on other crops sensitive to fungal infections, according to specific instructions.

Recommended use and dosage:

• Apply by foliar spray.
• The recommended dilution and dosage vary depending on the crop and disease pressure; for example, in many cases approximately 2–3 kg/ha, diluted in the recommended volume of water (e.g. 400–600 L/ha) can be used.
• Uniform coverage of the plants is essential to ensure the effectiveness of the treatment.
• The treatment can be repeated at intervals determined by weather conditions and the evolution of the disease, according to the instructions on the label.

Precautions:

• Wear appropriate protective equipment (gloves, goggles, protective clothing) during handling and application of the product.
• Do not apply in conditions of imminent rain to avoid washing the product off the plants.
• Always follow the instructions on the label and local regulations regarding the use of fungicides.
