Description

Active ingredient:

  • Dithianon 700 g/kg​

Formulation:

  • Water dispersible granules (WG)​

Mode of action:

  • Dithianon is a contact fungicide from the quinone group, which inhibits protein synthesis in fungi, preventing spore germination and mycelium formation.​

Areas of use and recommended doses:

  • Apple and pear:
    • Disease controlled: Rapanul (Venturia inaequalis in apple and Venturia pyrina in hair)​
    • Dose: 0.5-1 kg/ha​
    • Application period: Preventive, before the onset of conditions favorable to primary infection, from the opening of the first leaves to the beginning of fruit ripening (BBCH 11/54-81 phase)​
    • Maximum number of treatments per season: 6​
    • Interval between treatments: 5-7 days or before precipitation​
    • Interval time until harvest: 35 days​

Recommendations and precautions:

  • It is not recommended to mix with sulfur-based products, with an alkaline reaction or with mineral oils.​
  • To avoid the development of resistance, it is recommended to alternate with fungicides from other chemical groups.​
  • Follow the instructions on the label and local regulations regarding the use of phytosanitary products.
