Stimulators and Growth Regulators

Accudo

Accudo® is a microbiological biostimulant designed to enhance the growth and development of agricultural crops. It contains the bacterial strain Bacillus paralicheniformis RTI 184 at a concentration of 2.2% (w/w) with a minimum of 3.9 x 10⁹ CFU/ml (25.8 g/L). The formulation is a soluble concentrate. Details

Description

Mode of Action:
When applied to the soil via drip irrigation or watering, Accudo® colonizes the plant's root system and rhizosphere. The bacterium's biological activity promotes root development, particularly secondary growth and an increase in absorbing root hairs. This enhances water and nutrient uptake, leading to improved plant resilience against abiotic stress and higher-quality yields in vegetable crops grown in protected environments or open fields.

Usage Instructions:

  • Target Crops: Vegetables such as peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage, and lettuce, grown in greenhouses, tunnels, or open fields.
  • Recommended Dose: 0.5 l/ha, applied twice.

Application Methods:

  1. Via Drip Irrigation:

    • Start irrigation with one-third of the required time.
    • Apply Accudo® during the middle third of the irrigation time.
    • Continue irrigation with clean water for the remaining third.
    • Ensure uniform soil moisture to optimize bacterial distribution and activity.

The first application should be done 2–6 days after transplanting, depending on the crop and conditions. The second application should follow two weeks after the first.

  2. By Seedling Dipping:

    • Before planting, immerse seedlings for 3–4 seconds in an Accudo® solution.
    • Determine the required solution volume based on seedling water absorption.
    • For example, for 35,000 plants/ha, use 1 ml of Accudo® per 70 seedlings.

This should be done on the day of planting or one day prior, followed by irrigation or local watering.

  3. By Local Watering at Transplantation:

    • Prepare the necessary solution for each plant.
    • Example: For 1,400 seedlings, use 20 ml Accudo® in 420 liters of solution.

The solution should be applied evenly at transplantation, with a second application after two weeks via drip irrigation or local watering.

Important Considerations:

  • Maintain proper irrigation to ensure uniform bacterial distribution and optimal root colonization.
  • The bacteria multiply actively at soil temperatures above 10°C.
  • The optimal soil pH range is 5.7–6.8, with tolerance for NaCl concentrations up to 7%.
